Corali is a leader in dance-performance created by artists with a learning disability. Their work is made through a process of artistic collaboration, and they explore the relationship between; performers with and without a learning disability, dance and other art forms, and professional and participatory artwork.
Performing their brilliant show, Technicolour Everyday, twice in Cornwall this April, make sure you book tickets to see them at Portreath Millennium Hall on the 6th and Launceston Town Hall on the 7th.
In addition to their performances, Corali will be running two free dance workshops:
Dance workshop for age 11+
On the afternoon before their performance in Portreath, join this playful company for an afternoon dance workshop which will explore themes from the show. Corali uses objects, film, drawing and music as a stimulus to open-up dance in new ways and creatively explore its relationship to line, shape, colour and sound. This approach unlocks creativity and empowers workshop participants to make their own artistic choices and connect to other people in new ways. Wear clothes you are comfy moving in and bring some water. Places are on a first come first serve bases.
Morning dance workshop for local schools
On Monday the 8th, Corali will be offering a dance workshop to local schools. It is open to all ages and abilities from 11 upwards! Wear clothes you are comfy moving in and bring some water.
School group places will be issued on a first come first serve basis.
